The death of Lisa Marie Presley has been ruled as natural causes, resulting from the effects of a small bowel obstruction. The autopsy report explained that such complications are not uncommon after bariatric surgery, a weight loss procedure typically performed when other methods have failed or in cases of serious medical conditions.
The unfortunate incident began when paramedics responded to a 911 call reporting a woman in cardiac arrest at Presley’s Los Angeles home. She was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital. At the time, no details were given regarding the cause of her medical issue. However, the autopsy report mentioned that she had been experiencing stomach pain earlier on the day of her passing.
On January 22, Lisa Marie Presley was laid to rest at Graceland, her childhood home which now serves as a museum and a popular tourist attraction for fans of her father, Elvis Presley. Her legacy lives on through her three surviving daughters: 34-year-old actor Riley Keough and 15-year-old twins Harper and Finley Lockwood. Sadly, Lisa Marie’s son, Benjamin Keough, also passed away in 2020.

However, her mother, Priscilla Presley, and Riley Keough, who is now the sole trustee, settled the matter in May.
