In 2021, more than a million French people decide to work abroad. There are several reasons that can lead to this choice: to improve one’s quality of life, to discover a new culture but also to make a better living. Here are the five countries with the highest salaries.

In a study published on January 10, it wasOrganization for Economic Cooperation and Development The Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) looked at countries where salaries are higher, for a single person without children. Note that the cost of living varies in each country. So the reward is appropriate.
Switzerland
The Swiss Confederation leads this ranking. In fact, a single, childless Swiss earns €5,779 per month. A country neighboring France, it had nearly 180,000 French residents in 2020, making it the country with the largest number of French expatriates.
Holland
Four thousand four hundred twenty-two euros per month. This is the average Dutch salary. As is the case everywhere, economic conditions vary from city to city. Amsterdam and Rotterdam are ranked among the most expensive places in the country.
Luxembourg
Also on the border with France, you can claim a net amount of €4,418 per month if you work in the Grand Duchy. As in Switzerland, the cost of living is very high there.
Denmark
In this Scandinavian country, the salary is estimated at 3,807 euros net per month on average. The state decided that working hours should not exceed 40 hours per week, provided that the weekly working time is 33 hours.
Germany
Again a neighbor. The average net salary in Germany is €3,692 per month.
France ranks 17th with an average net salary of €2,408 per month.
