Local Non-Profit Raises $100,000 at Annual Charity Gala
The annual charity gala hosted by local non-profit organization, Community Cares, was a resounding success last weekend at the Hilton Hotel. Over 500 guests, including local business owners, politicians, and community leaders, gathered to show their support and help raise funds for various programs and services offered by the organization.
The evening was filled with entertainment, featuring a silent auction, live band, and a gourmet dinner prepared by a celebrity chef. The highlight of the night was when it was announced that over $100,000 had been raised, thanks to the generosity of those in attendance.
Several individuals and organizations were recognized for their contributions to the community, with a local business receiving special acknowledgment for their significant donation to the non-profit. The funds raised at the gala will be used to expand Community Cares’ programs and services, including a new mentoring program for at-risk youth in the community.
“We are thrilled with the support shown by the community at this year’s gala,” said a spokesperson for Community Cares. “The funds raised will allow us to make a real impact in the lives of those we serve, and we are excited to see the positive outcomes of our new mentoring program for at-risk youth.”
Overall, the charity gala was a huge success, bringing together members of the community to support a worthy cause and make a difference in the lives of those in need.
