The leaked scores indicate that the Dimensity 9300, tested on Vivo’s yet-to-be-released X100 flagship smartphone, outperforms its competitor by a significant margin.
One of the factors contributing to the Dimensity 9300’s superior performance is the use of LPDDR5T RAM in the Vivo X100. This gives it an advantage over the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, which utilizes slower LPDDR5X RAM. Additionally, the Vivo X100 boasts impressive hardware specifications, including 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage, 16GB of LPDDR5T RAM, and runs on the latest Android 14 operating system.
According to the leaked benchmark results, the Vivo X100 achieved a remarkable score of 2,249,858 points, slightly higher than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Sparrownews also reported that the Dimensity 9300 in the Vivo X100 outperforms the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in Realme GT5 Pro by a significant margin of 20,000 points.
The Dimensity 9300 stands out with its use of four Cortex-X4 cores for multi-core performance, as opposed to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3’s reliance on a single Cortex-X4 core. However, it should be noted that the Dimensity 9300 lacks low-power Cortex-A520 cores, which may potentially result in higher power consumption and could impact battery life during resource-intensive applications.
