The news of Miller’s recasting comes amidst controversy surrounding the actor, starting with a video in 2020 that allegedly showed them choking a female fan. This incident led to arrests and protective orders against Miller, who later issued a statement in August 2022 apologizing for their behavior and revealing that they were seeking treatment for mental health issues.
