Eddie Jones continues to form his coaching staff at the helm of Australia with Neil Hatley arriving to take charge of the scrum.
On the night of Wednesday to Thursday, Federation Australia announced two appointments to the Wallabies squad. The first is about Neil Hatley. The Englishman becomes a scrum coach on Eddie Jones’ staff. They have already worked together, during the 2019 World Cup with England. Since then, Neil Hateley has returned to FC Bath. “While my head is, at the moment, here in Bath, I know there is great potential within the Australian kit. I can’t wait to be able to exploit it to the full.”, declared technical. Eddie Jones, appointed at the beginning of the calendar year at the helm of the Australian selection after the ouster of Dave Rainey, declared for his part: “It’s great to have Neil and David Rath on the Wallabys coaching staff. Neil is an experienced coach. He knows what it takes to succeed at the international level.”
The other arrival is David Rath as moderator. “David will bring a range of skills that will help facilitate our learning environment”Eddie Jones said. The Wallabies’ first meeting with their new crew will take place on July 8 to open the rugby tournament against South Africa.
