Samsung is gearing up to bring some exciting new features to older flagship phones and tablets next month with the release of the One UI 6.1 update. According to reports from 9to5Google and Android Central, select Galaxy AI features will be included in the update, although the Instant Slow-Mo feature will be excluded.
The Galaxy AI features will be available on devices from the S22, S22 Plus, S22 Ultra, Z Fold 4, Z Flip 4, Tab S8, and Tab S8 Ultra lineup. What’s interesting is that these older devices will receive the same version of Galaxy AI as the lower-priced Galaxy S23 FE.
One of the standout features being added is Instant Slow-Mo, which was first introduced with the S24 line. Excitingly, this feature will also be available on the S23 models now.
The news of this update was shared by a Samsung representative on the company’s community forum in Korea, giving fans something to look forward to in the coming weeks. This move by Samsung shows their commitment to providing ongoing support and updates for their older flagship devices, ensuring that users can continue to enjoy the latest technology and features.
Samsung users who own a device from the specified lineup can expect the One UI 6.1 update to roll out next month, bringing a range of Galaxy AI features to their devices and enhancing their overall user experience.
